Mountain Hideaway For Sale

I built this cabin myself. It is overbuilt to be strong. The logs average about 12 inches in diameter. It has 8 inch by 10 inch squared timbers for floor joists. It has its own water well that is rated at 10gpm and it is adjudicated for watering horses. There is a $15,000.00 water certificate that goes with it. There are five 1/2 acre lots, the cabin, barn and corral are all on one lot so the other four lots could be sold. There is a road grader here so our roads are graded winter and summer. The cabin has southern exposure so you can sit on the deck and get a tan in the winter.

Twin Lakes is at the foot of MT. Elbert and within 50 miles of Aspen, Copper Mountain, Vail and Monarch ski areas. Lake county has its own small ski area Called Cooper about half way to Vail and if you want to save money skiing that is the place to do it. There are great lakes for fishing, boating and even a few sail boats use Twin Lakes. Great hiking, backpacking or just walking if you are my age. Winter time has ice fishing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and I've already mentioned the countrys best skii resorts. All of the hunting areas here are considered trophy areas weither you use a camera or a rifle.

This is the best of the fourteeners in the very heart of the Rockies. It dosen't come any better than this.
